Lilikoi is the Hawaiian name for passion fruit, and this sauce lives up to its name as it definitely cranks up the temperature in the room. Our first sauce that we have combined two super hot peppers – 7 Pot and Scorpion – we used the yellow varieties in the first run but have plans to mix and match what ever varietals are available to keep this sauce in production.

Beautiful and plenty hot, for the fire-seeker

I first came across this a year or two back- didn't know what a Lilikoi was at the time (or 7 Pot for that matter)- I was visiting the Big Island last week and saw HiSpice in a store, and decided to order a bundle. Fond memories of surprising heat.

Don't let the pretty packaging, and lack of threats regarding your alimentary well-being, fool you.

This is real-deal hot. Takes a few seconds to kick in, but they aren't messing about. The flavors are great, with a nice fruitiness to the heat, but not sugary sweet at all. Goes great on anything that could use a little brightness.

But it really is hot. Pepper companies like to talk a big game about 10/10 spicy, and it's usually nonsense. These guys bring the real heat, with flavor to match.

I absolutely love this hot sauce. Hot and sweet. My daughter in law bought the variety pack but forgot to put it in her checked bag. She had it in her carry on and was unable to bring it home. Sad. You will never want to be without this sauce. I now carry some in my purse. Yummm...
