 Justin & Katie

We’re bringing hot sauce from farm to bottle to your face.

We are a husband & wife operation from Maui, Hawaii.  We have spent years home gardening and learning what grew well and what we had a habit of killing.  You would think that with 365 days of absolutely beautiful weather that anything would grow well.  Well, to avoid any embarrassing stories, we’ll just say that we quickly discovered that we had a knack for growing peppers.  This realization quickly escalated into absolute pepper craziness. Pepper-mania quickly transformed into experimenting with making unique hot sauces because like so many others, we were growing bored with the typical sauces you find on restaurant tables.  After years of exposing our friends and family to our own concoctions, we decided to introduce our hot sauces to those who crave flavor AND heat! We are collaborating with local farmers to bring you a truly Maui crafted small-batch hot sauce that is inspired, grown, and crafted on Maui.  Keep it spicy!!

The Gold Standard

Absolutely beautiful hydroponic tomatoes grown on the slopes of Haleakala by Dan Gold.

Dan Gold lives with his amazeballs wife, Maggie, and daughter Sadie in Kula here on Maui.  He is pumping out some serious science with his hydroponic setup which yields multiple varietals of tomatoes including some monster beefsteaks that are almost more than two handfuls!!  He’s helping us apply his hydroponic skills to our pepper production, so we are super stoked to have him on our team!!

Maui’s Best Honey

The bountiful, sun soaked, volcanically rich soils of south Maui offer unparalleled conditions that make this raw honey the best in the world.

Maui’s Best Honey is a raw gourmet buttery honey that is rare because it is derived primarily from the Kiawe tree, which grows abundantly in the rich volcanic soils of south Maui but is endangered in its native habitat of Peru and Ecuador. Unlike many conventional honey producers, Maui’s Best Honey is produced without the supplementation of high-fructose corn syrup or the use of pesticides. Maui is one of the last refuges for honey bees because we are not plagued by colony collapse disorder and other devastating pests.

“It takes over a million miles of flying to make one quart of honey.”

Kumu Farms

Kumu Farms offers local farm-fresh organic produce.

Hawaii always was a great place for Organic Farming…. it still is!

The Kumu Farms Crews have worked the land at Kumu Farms on Moloka’i for over 30 years. The operation yields thousands of pounds of Papayas, Banana’s, and Fresh produce for the local market. Our Maui farm at MTP began in 2011 and officially opened in the winter of 2012. In Waikapu, Maui, we grow and export a variety of fresh herbs such as Basil, Sage, Thyme, Parsley, Rosemary, Dill and Oregano. We also grow a variety of specialty produce. Our unique on-site packing system allows direct export to markets such as Whole Foods, Veritable Vegetable, Alberts Organics, Organically Grown Co., and many more. Including yourself – you can pick up an export ready box and take it with you, or we can ship it directly to your home.
