We’re bringing hot sauce from farm to bottle to your face.
Justin & Katie
We are a husband & wife operation from Maui, Hawaii. We have spent years home gardening and learning what grew well and what we had a habit of killing. You would think that with 365 days of absolutely beautiful weather that anything would grow well. Well, to avoid any embarrassing stories, we’ll just say that we quickly discovered that we had a knack for growing peppers. This realization quickly escalated into absolute pepper craziness. Pepper-mania quickly transformed into experimenting with making unique hot sauces because like so many others, we were growing bored with the typical sauces you find on restaurant tables. After years of exposing our friends and family to our own concoctions, we decided to introduce our hot sauces to those who crave flavor AND heat! We are collaborating with local farmers to bring you a truly Maui crafted small-batch hot sauce that is inspired, grown, and crafted on Maui. Keep it spicy!!
The Gold Standard
Absolutely beautiful hydroponic tomatoes grown on the slopes of Haleakala by Dan Gold.
Dan Gold lives with his amazeballs wife, Maggie, and daughter Sadie in Kula here on Maui. He is pumping out some serious science with his hydroponic setup which yields multiple varietals of tomatoes including some monster beefsteaks that are almost more than two handfuls!! He’s helping us apply his hydroponic skills to our pepper production, so we are super stoked to have him on our team!!

The National Policy Board Chair is an Organic Farmer.
HFUU’s membership includes family farmers, fisherman, ranchers and consumers in all 50 states. Farmers Union has 25 state/regional organizations but even in states where there is no formal state organization, you’re likely to find Farmers has a presence.
